Off the Clock?

A New York court recently ruled that, even though a former Black & Decker employee misled his company about the hours he worked, he was permitted to proceed with his claim that he was not paid for overtime hours he worked off the clock. Experts say the decision should remind employers about the legal pitfalls involved when workers record their own time or do company work at home.
