A Stealth Startup Wants to Create a Better Way to Put Teams Together

Working under the radar out of northern California and Armenia a stealth startup is building a piece of human resources technology to help in team building. In short, companies would use the product to search their own employees skills, team fit, location, and availability. Then, they d click on profiles and piece together a team of people for a project. By clicking Teamable s buttons on employee profiles, companies would select who they want to work on something. One of the criteria is whether employees would work well with each other; for example, if they ve teamed up smoothly in the past, that s a good sign of a good fit. Another key criteria is when people can start; perhaps they are on another project, or are a contingent worker just not available yet. Teamable also has an employee referral tool. Laura Bilazarian, the cofounder and CEO, says her startup is amply funded by strategic angel investors. Bilazarian, who is active in the Armenian startup community, sees the sweet spot of potential customers as professional services organizations with billable employees and contingent workers.
