Maybe you ve seen a lot of articles that talk about signs that you re unhappy at work. But how many are there that talk about happiness at work? Here are some telltale signs that you are actually enjoying your time at the office, and that you re not just convincing or brainwashing yourself. Hopefully, these bring some positive vibes to you. And if your current disposition is the opposite of what s included in this list, then maybe it s time to act on your career, whether you re up for the manager job or even the director job. You do not mind helping your colleagues at work. Even if you have lots of work to do, you find pleasure in helping others get through a hurdle or solve a problem in their tasks. This means that you are invested in your colleague s success, and also in the company s as a whole. You have work friends. Friends are a very good reason to report to work. Without anybody to talk to or have lunch with, a day in the office can be as boring as one in prison. And working feels much more fun if done with people that we like and respect. You do not like being sick. You do not like to miss a day at work because you simply do not want to cause anybody the hassle of having to catch your tasks. You do not want to let your team down. Time flies fast. You always cannot believe that it is already 5:00 in the afternoon. This only means that you like what you re doing and you are not bored. You don t mind sharing your success with others. In fact, you always find yourself looking for ways to give credit to your teammates. You look forward to weekends so you can recharge. You do not dread he work days. In fact, you like to work that you see your weekend as an opportunity to recharge for another week at the office. You always go the extra mile. You always exceed everyone s expectations not so you can prove anything, but so that you can achieve more for the company. You re so into making improvements in the office. Maybe this is because you know that you will stay long in the company, and that you better find solutions instead of simply complaining about problems. Little issues do not bother you at all. You know very well that no office environment is perfect, and so instead of ranting about petty things, you just let them roll away like the eyes of the people involved. You know that your time is better spent on solving issues that really concern the company, instead of meddling in other people s personal issues that were brought to the office. You are confident about your contributions in the office. You almost never feel that you are insignificant in the office. You know that the things you do make a big difference in the company that you are working for.
